Winery Tour and Country Club: Day 7

Before you ask about the missing day 6, think back about all that we have been doing so far. Lots of stuff, right? OK, so we were exhausted. We took day 6 off and had some well deserved rest. Day 6 is not documented, since we actually didn't take a single picture that day, but it was a good day!

So after a well deserved day of rest, off we went, bright-eyed and bushy tailed, in the mid-morning of Day 7 to tour the Concha y Toro winery.

We had a delightful guide for our tour in English and first walked around outside on the lovely grounds. We saw some grapes on the vines and ready to harvest.
Our guide told us a lot about how to judge a wine and he gave us the opportunity to taste 3 different types of Concho y Toro wines.

After we enjoyed touring the historic and picturesque grounds, we went inside and saw the cellars, both new and old.

and to learn about the legend of the devil in the cellar.

After tasting one more type of wine, it was decision time! Den and Cari were now ready to choose which wines to buy to take home.

On the way home we stopped to see the country club, where Artie and Margy are members.
