Arrival in Santiago and Day 1 March 6, 2004
Always the clown, Den danced with glee upon their arrival and seeing his college buddy, Artie.

	After a quick siesta...
	Dennis and Cari began with a walking tour of the local neighborhood. This was the start of a photo marathon, of which only a few pictures are included here.

While riding city buses we enjoyed the traveling musicians who play for coins.

The first day ended on Cerro San Cristóbal, to see the Virgin Mary and the lights of Santiago.

		This is a special place with a spectacular view. And on this day we saw the full moon in all its glory. Try to guess what Artie and Den are doing in this last picture at the end of the day. They aren't really mooning us! You can find the answer on the next page.
